Business Cards - Pay Attention To Detail

by Jacob Mielson

Picture yourself as a prospective client. You've just met a contractor who is astute, polite and offers an excellent product or service. He shakes your hand resolutely and reaches into his pocket to pull out a tiny metal case. He opens the box and hands you a small white business card containing his contact information. However, as you hold it in your hand you notice that it just doesn't feel right. The paper is cheap and low quality, probably from recycled card stock. Also, the font is rather dull. It's a variation of Comic Sans that just doesn't match his company.

You take a glance at the man before you look one last time at his card, and that's when you observe what puts you over the edge. The card lacks an address for the company, providing only a name and telephone number in plain black on a stark white background. You've already decided that you're not about to conduct any business with this person.

This hypothetical circumstance demonstrates the significance of making quality business cards, which function as your first impression as well as a lasting reminder. Exquisitely textured, premium card stock is a standard of quality printers, in addition to a good choice of font designs, hues and dimensions. Your business card should make an impression in the client's mind, and it's a fantastic tool for enabling you to give a quality item with your contact data for the customer to keep in their possession.

Your business card is a lot like you, in the sense that it's flexible but never flimsy, sturdy yet not brittle. Going the extra mile to make fine business cards demonstrates to your client that you'll also go the extra mile in other facets of your life and how you do business. Quality printing ought to be your top priority as you consider making your business card.

The same basic rules apply when printing flyers. In comparison with neon posters and photocopies from the office printer, a well-printed flyer designed with tasteful, classic style will instantly draw in potential clients. A good prospect will soon notice the lack of commitment presented by other advertisers, and they will be drawn to a quality flyer which promises reliability and results.

It is said that the devil is in the details. However, it is worth it to go the extra mile and create a fine, memorable business card. In a fast-growing world, full of digital and ephemeral correspondence, it is refreshing and reassuring to see a quality, steadfast product, void of sophistry and illusion. Print fine business cards, and they will refer themselves for you.

The paper is of extremely poor quality. You take a look at him, and then one last look at his business card. Richly textured, fine quality card stock is a staple of good printing services, along with a premium selection of font styles, colors, and sizes. Pulling out all the stops to produce nice business cards shows the customer that you will pull out all the stops in other aspects of life and business. Premium printing should be your first resource when thinking about creating your business card. Similar rules apply for flyer printing. Printing high quality business card is a smart move, and a great investment.
